Quiet lately
OK, I have to admit to not quite having got into the swing yet of regularly updating which is pretty much at the core of the whole weblog thang. I’ve actually just been installing SnipSnap here because the combination of weblog and wiki seems very appealing and I think most of the stuff that I want to log is better suited to the wiki approach. Having said that of course it’s still empty as I speak, or is it?
I was quite frankly astonished to find that at least three people had not only read my warchalking entry but even taken the trouble to comment on it. I must check my referer logs…
In response to “how [do] you find the nodes to begin with” (apart from stumbling across a warchalk) the short answer is wardriving. And actually I find word of mouth is also very effective. In particular there are quite a few active projects in Bristol and across the UK. The Consume project has a useful node database covering the UK, although be aware that many of the nodes listed are speculative.
